Canterbury is one of the few clock manufacturers that offer an American made quality wooden clock case with a quartz movement. While much of the work in making the Clock Cases is done on modern machines, their Clocks are ‘handmade’ in every sense of the term. From the selection of each piece of wood used in the case, to milling, assembly, to the hand rubbing of finishes and fitting of the clock works. Each Canterbury Clock is made to the highest craft standards and practices. No compromises are made during any aspect of manufacturing and all work on their clocks is done in their Southern California, Big Bear Lake location. Their Craftsmen build with pride each Canterbury clock for it’s ultimate owner’s use and enjoyment. Each clock promises to be a cherished family possession for many generations to come.
